Explore the San Diego River Estuary and Mission Valley Preserve on this 8-mile easy paced bike ride. Ride leaves from the paw print at Dog Beach. See 4 miles of the San Diego River Trail, including the new 3/4 mile section. Family friendly ride.

Join the Friends of Tierrasanta Canyons for a moderate 2-mile roundtrip hike through beautiful South Rueda Canyon. Optional lunch too follow.

Enjoy the morning at this wonderful community garden displaying native varietals and low water using plants. Visitors are welcome to come by and help out with different gardening tasks, or just say hello and go for a stroll through the garden. All tools provided. Docents on hand.

5PM - 6PM Mother’s Day River Walk
Join the River Park Foundation for an evening guided nature walk in Mission Valley. A naturalist will take you on a short 1.25-mile walk under the cooling shade of cottonwoods and willow trees along the River Trail. What a wonderful way to enjoy Mother's Day!
