About the Event
Hikers can choose between a moderate 4.5 mile hike out toward an iconic peak with breathtaking views of Boulder Creek and the Upper River Gorge or a strenuous 1000 ft. elevation gain and loss, 4.0 mile hike that will take you down to the breath-taking Three Sisters Waterfalls.
Scott Turner, co-writer of the 5th edition of Afoot and Afield in San Diego County, will also be joining us for this hike! Scott Turner is an L.A. native and San Diego transplant who pulls every trick in the book to get out on the trail. His first book, a revision of Afoot and Afield San Diego County, is now out.
***You must wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring at least 3 liters of water. Sun protection and a sack lunch or snack is highly recommended. All hikers will meet at the Three Sisters Waterfalls trailhead, and then the group will split based on interest and physical ability. Leashed dogs are welcome on the Eagle Peak Hike, but discouraged from the Three Sisters Waterfalls Hike.
