About the Event
You can help care for trails at Eagle Peak Ranch! This is your chance to enjoy a beautiful day outdoors while working with like-minded folks to care for our open spaces. Scenery and wildlife abound with views of Santa Ysabel, Cuyamaca Peak and the San Diego River Gorge!
Participants will have the chance to learn about trail work and advocacy from experts with the San Diego Mountain Biking Association as well as to do their own volunteer work to help improve recreational trails on site. Tasks will include trail surveys, weeding, cairn building, trimming brush, and more.
All tools and supplies are provided. Community service hours can be verified for those that need them. Be sure to dress in clothes that can get a little dirty and wear closed-toe shoes, no sandals or flip-flops allowed for safety reasons.
This activity is suitable for adults and children ages 8+.
