DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Earth Day with us by connecting with fellow nature lovers and enjoying a fun-filled Community Garden Party from 8 am – 12 pm at Grant Park! The event is FREE and all are welcome!  \nThere will be garden themed-fun for all ages including:  \n\nNative plants (hand-selected by our pollinator experts) and garden art for sale \nArt and craft activities\nExciting educational presentations by Master Gardeners and pollinator experts\n‘Build Your Own Garden’ workshop\nComplementary seed packages\nRefreshments and yummy treats \n\nCome for the whole morning or stop by and say hi! Stay tuned for an exciting lineup of activities!  Thank you to our community vendors\, including Lazy Acres\, Coastal Sage Gardening\, San Diego River Artists Alliance\, and The Gifting Closet for making this event special!   \nAnd a special thank you to the A.L Clinton Foundations for their generous grant to support the plant sale and make this event possible. \nIf you would like to volunteer to support this special event sign up here: 7 am – 11 am shift and 10 am – 2 pm shift.  \nWe can’t wait to see you there! \nPresented by SDRPF’s Resource Development Committee and co-hosted by the Mission Valley Garden Club. \nThe Mission Valley Garden Club is a dedicated group of volunteers and neighbors helping care for the amazing native plant and pollinator gardens at Grant Park\, the San Diego River Park Foundation’s new nature learning center in the heart of Mission Valley. They meet every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the Month.
