View of property

Location:
Between Lake Cuyamaca and Eagle Peak
Near 3 Sisters Waterfall Trailhead. Location is marked on map with the blue pin.

Background:

Recently we learned that a piece of the Cuyamaca Corridor might be available to purchase. We worked with the owner's realtor and have agreed on a price to purchase the property. Thanks to our River Wildlife Club, we had enough funds for the deposit, so we jumped at the chance to acquire and conserve the property. We then set out to raise the remaining funds needed.

Exciting news, Ensie and Matthias Blume, a wonderful couple who support conserving at-risk open spaces, agreed to match every donation received up to a total of $8800!

UPDATE: people have come together to raise $8800 for the acquisition and the Blumes are moving ahead with their matching gift! We continue to raise funds for this purchase. Every donation raised, is less funding that needs to be pulled out of our Acquisition Reserve Fund. We are really close to raising all the funds needed so none of the reserve will be required. Just $2900 is left to raise! Thank you!

Your donation of $20, $50, or more is really appreciated as we work to conserve this piece of Johnson Creek.
