Tribute & Memorial Gifts
Celebrate someone special with a gift to the San Diego River Park Foundation
Give the gift of nature. Perhaps you want to celebrate someone who is passionate about the outdoors, or would like to make a gift in memory of a special person who loved nature and visiting the River. You can also mark an important occasion, celebrate an accomplishment, or honor someone special with a gift.
Gifts can be as little as $25. Use the online donation button to make your donation, and we will contact you to confirm the details so we can make your gift or tribute a success.

Special Gift Opportunities
Except for the $25 tree and adopt a bat options, gifts can be from a single giver or from a group of people. Space may be limited on recognition plaques. These dedications are for as long as the bench, tree, or other item is in working condition or viable. We can't control how long a tree will last.
Grant Park Engraved Personalized Rock
$500 - This is a unique opportunity to be part of this special project in Mission Valley. Make a gift and we will reach out to you to create a special engraved rock which will be placed on a wall at the 100-seat outdoor stage at Grant Park, our new community gathering and nature learning center! We will send the gift recipient an email or mail them a card to let them know of this special gift! Learn more about Grant Park.
Plant a Tree in Someone's Name
A card will be sent to you or to the person you name.
- $25 - Plant a tree at a preserve (no plaque).
- $200 - Eagle Peak Ranch - Dedicate an existing tree in someone's name. A plaque will be installed on the tree. We will work with you to finalize what goes on the plaque.

Adopt a bat
$156 or $13 per month. We will email a personalized adoption certificate and a fact sheet about a selected bat. Funds support Bat Conservation & Research.

Benches
- $2000: Bench at Point Loma Native Plant Garden
- $2000: Trailside Bench at Eagle Peak Ranch
- $5,000 or $10,000: Bench at Grant Park in Mission Valley- very limited offer - this project is under construction and your donation supports the Building Fund.
