Bird Walk At Grant Park

April 19 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am
Free
Beautiful blue bird in tree

Embark on a fun-filled walk with bird experts Cindy Pencek and Ian Swirka to observe and count the amazing biodiversity of birds that call this section of the river home! You’ll not only experience the joy and relaxation of connecting with nature, but will also contribute to conservation efforts through reporting observations on iNaturalist!

You’ll also be able to check out our River Studio at Grant Park, where we’re creating a unique nature education center and eco-park that will serve over 10,000 students annually and empower the next generation of environmental stewards.

We hope you can join us! Kids are welcome, with adult supervision.

And extend the morning at the beautiful park by joining our Ecosystems Deep Dive and Game Time from 10 am – 11:30 am and have some fun playing nature-themed games! (all ages welcome, but games best suited for ages 8+.)

Parking: Please park in the Grant Park parking lot. Access is via the intersection with the stoplight across from iFly Indoor Skydiving.
