Friends and Neighbors Open House Celebration
You’re invited to our special Friends and Neighbors Open House community celebration on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Whether you are brand new to the organization, or are already a volunteer, we would love for you to join us!
Come learn about the San Diego River Park Foundation’s programs and enjoy a fun and relaxing Saturday at Grant Park, our beautiful new eco-park and education center. Pack a picnic lunch and experience a variety of nature activities for all ages (see below!) And FREE ICE CREAM from 11:00 am until we run out! The event is FREE and ALL are welcome!

-Nature Discovery Table featuring a fun and educational display of pelts, skulls, scats and tracks for people to match
