Halloween Edition Nature Nights: Bat Walk and Moths Haunted Trail at Peutz Creek!

Are you in a Halloween mood?
Join us for a fun evening Halloween adventure! Stroll along Peutz Creek as we listen and look for bats and moths and explore the wonders of the nighttime world. We’ll eavesdrop on eerie echolocation calls using bioacoustics and attract moths to our UV light station for up-close observation.
All ages are welcome to this slightly spooky Nature Night! Be sure to sign up early—space is limited, and our Nature Nights events fill up quickly.
Here are a few tips to help you prepare for the event:
Check-In: 6:45 PM, meet at the open parking area near the fruit trees
Attire: Long pants and closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended
Other Items to Bring: Reusable water bottle, light clothing layer
Weather: Light rain will not cancel the event
For safety reasons, no pets are allowed at this event
There are no restroom facilities at this location

Please note: You will lose cell service once you leave I-8 freeway onto Peutz Valley Road. The address to meet and park is a residence: 966 Peutz Valley Road.
