LINDA HAWLEY’S NATURE ADVENTURES!
FREE—ages 4-10 with an adult

Not your ordinary sewer rats, woodrats are the original PACKRATS, building huge, intricate houses that last for centuries! How do they build them? What makes them & their habitats so fascinating? Their distant cousins—mice, moles, shrews, voles & gophers—are considered to be PESTS, but do they have any redeeming qualities at all?

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Linda Hawley, Ed.M., delights children & adults alike with the animated enthusiasm she brings to her monthly programs by entertaining them with her PowerPoint presentation, songs, puppets, real animal pelts & nests, replicated skulls, specimens, scats & tracks; take-home craft materials &/or handouts will be provided. EVERYONE HAS FUN LEARNING!
Ms. Hawley has 40+ years of experience as a classroom teacher, college professor, naturalist guide & educator for Audubon Society’s OutdoorExplore! & at Mission Trails Regional Park, where she created & taught her “wildly popular” nature classes for 10 years.
