River Readers Nature Storytime

Join author and environmental educator Amanda Peterson for a special River Readers Storytime on Tuesday, August 11 at Grant Park!
Amanda will read her wonderful new book, If I Were an Octopus, then lead a fun, hands-on activity that inspires children to explore the wonders of the natural world through imagination and curiosity.
Perfect for young nature lovers and their families, this free program (every Tuesday!) combines storytelling, learning, and outdoor fun in beautiful Grant Park.
We can’t wait to see you there! 🌿💙
Thank you to Amanda for joining us for this special storytime. As a former SDRPF staff member, and a current volunteer, we are lucky to have her host storytime next Tuesday!
Located at Grant Park in Mission Valley, the River Readers Nature Storytime happen every Tuesday and is a FREE program that features books, activities, and crafts celebrating the great outdoors and our local wildlife. This partnership between the San Diego River Park Foundation and the Mission Valley Library is perfect for preschoolers and their families looking for outdoor literacy fun!
