Southern Tributaries
Conserving and Restoring San Diego’s Backcountry
The Southern Tributaries are at the western base of Cuyamaca Peak. These lands are critical for wildlife movement between neighboring watersheds and our River. Much of this land is still relatively untouched, and remains highly valuable habitat. This area extends southerly to the Sweetwater River Watershed and the community of Descanso.
